Not if you believe they've covered every foreseeable exploit and vulnerability that will be found in the future.

It depends really on what the machine is used for. Is there data on there that needs to be secured? Any transactions taking place on it?
Is it on a network where it exposes other machines to vulnerabilities?

There are thousands of businesses out there running XP still. I suspect they will be targeted before home users, if that helps.

If it is not on the internet it may run forever, but if it is, be careful.
