import the wave or mp3 of the song and use the chord wizard to detect the chords.

select a matching style from the country or rock styles....

that would be the first thing I would try to replicate a cover of the song.


If that failed to yield satisfying results...and that is a possibility.... then take the song part by part.

Figure out the approximate tempo and the key to start.... then manually input the introduction.

Next nail the first verse.....copy it and make a second verse with a paste... next get the chorus right..... that that point, a simple copy and paste should fill out the rest of the song in no time at all. Copy and paste the first 2 verses and chorus a second time.....add a last verse and tag it using copy and paste..

Total time, I would suspect to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 minutes to no more then an hour to replicate the cover version of that song that will work.
