When you enter into the "Custom" settings for the Conductor, have you entered the bar numbers in the format given by the automatic help pop-up.

The required format is "bar number/chorus number" (e.g. 5/1)? See the image below.



In BIAB, a 'chorus' is "once through the song". The default value for this is "3". (See below.)



This may need setting to "1" for what you are doing. Simply click on the button and change the value.
