OP fgrittner Expert F Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 1,071 St. Paul, Minnesota	Here is week 12's new release: Can't Come Down. I wrote it in 1975 and finally have recorded it. Read my blog entry for more information. http://52tracksblog.com/2016/03/24/track-12-cant-come-down/ I recorded a version in 2010 with a hard rock BIAB backing band. Last fall I experimented with the swinging hip folk style and fell in love with it, so yesterday I rendered those RTs, removed the rock tracks from Logic, and inserted the new ones to go along with my vocals. Another great feature of BIAB is the ability to test out different styles. HipFolk Style: 2477 Acoustic Bass Held Simple Swing, 2438 Clawhammer Banjo Rhythm HipFolk Swing, 2441 Acoustic Fingerpicking HipFolk Swing (two instances), 1780 Fiddle Background Pop 16ths, Nashville Swing 16th Drums ^5 Sidestick-Snare Thanks for listening and your comments. Nice vocal presentation with a touch of harmony, and the fiddle works so well in this song. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
