I wouldn't delete them. I would move them to a different folder. If possible put that folder on a different HD.
I would move over delete them as you never know, someday you may want to review and/or use one or two of them. YMMV
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"
