There are only 5 black keys, so they're a gapped pentatonic scale. So you can look at them as being a scale missing some key notes. Which scale you consider it to be depends on root note of the scale.

That Eb pentatonic scale - Eb Gb Ab Bb Db - functionally an Ebmin7 - is basically an Eb blues scale, contrasting the minor flavor of the scale against the major scale of the harmony.
