I would guess it’s more that the original program was designed for jazz fakebooks where this limitation wasn’t as noticeable. Having created the whole programming structure for the program, it’s probably hard to change the older code and doing so would make file compatiblility an issue. But that’s just a guess.

The XPro & Xtra Styles PAKs are not included in any Band-in-a-Box® package.

They will not work with the Pro or MegaPAK version as they require the RealTracks included in the UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition.
