my hammock swings gently.

In the intense heat,
I get fresh air under the fan.
Every movement gives you
drops of sweat.
So I sing pianissimo
in the way of Joao Gilberto.

I walked the beach,
feet scratched by shells.
The turtle shells
looked at me like an intruder.
Large and voluble birds
hovered higher and higher,
flushing out the hostile snakes
camouflaged in the reeds.
And I went to the Pirate's bar
to dance the forro. It was so great !
