His critical line was at 3:13 when he stated: "Nowadays, people who get signed ... are people who are already successful" Notwithstanding, this shouldn't dampen the spirits of any enthusiastic singer/songwriter/performer. We all start somewhere. In history, if nobody ever dared to make a start we would still be living in caves.
