Bofga Newbie B Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 4 Victoria, Australia	Hello Did you sort this issue? I had something similar. BIAB (on external HDD) would take up to 5 minutes to start and it was driving me crazy. After much hair pulling I found the culprit. I had to (temporarily) disable real time protection on WIN 10. Once I did that it starts as you would expect. The only thing is - I need to remember to disable real time protection each time I go to use BIAB. Windows will prompt you to turn on real time protection again and I do that after I have finished my session with BIAB. Your problem might be different but this just may work for you too. His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
