I've always been a fan of MOTU gear - still have a couple Firewire units of theirs (a Traveler MK1 that still works perfectly for my portable rig, and an 828mk3 with a dead firewire port that I have connected through ADAT to my RME Fireface).

ymmv of course. might be worth a test drive before buying.
just make sure , like i always do, you can return it to the store if it dont play nice with your computer rig.

to come out which is gonna be blazing fast apparently.


I've got an old DDA console which was built by the Audient guys, sounds killer! Excellent mic pre's in it, and a really good EQ.
