Matt Finley Veteran Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 25,952 Hudson Valley & Lake George NY	When I discovered Izotope’s Ozone with its Maximize function about twenty years ago, that made the difference in producing tracks with the same energy as commercial tracks. Waves also made a tool for this. However, there are still occasions where I use Normalize. It’s just a tool. Use it where it’s needed. BIAB 2024 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 6.5 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6; Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus Studio 192, Presonus Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors
