OP DavidC1969 Newbie D Joined: Feb 2022 Posts: 2	Hi all, I'm new to Real Band and have a question about playable real tracks. Are they only available for certain real tracks? Let me explain my issue. Usually when I insert a real track onto a utility track and open the piano roll and hit 'playable track', the 'insert HI-Q' dialogue box appears and all is well. But I have found occasionally when I insert certain tracks, horn tracks, for example, the 'insert HI-Q' dialogue box appears and when I click ok a list appears of HI-Q & Playable tracks. Does this mean these are the only tracks that I can choose from for my editable playable real tracks in piano roll? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Gordon Scott Expert Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 1,951 Hampshire, UK	There's a tutorial in a boot-camp video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS0yuTwhcCc&t=540s I'm really not 100% sure whether one has to use specific RealTrack or whether one can change to playable mode on any RealTrack. I think one has to use specific RealTracks, because the feature requires each the notes each recorded individually in the RealTrack and I think having done that is a recent change. PGM are not exactly clear on it. I haven't yet tried to use it. Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful. Kawai MP6, Korg M50, Ui24R, Saffire Pro 40. AVL:MXE Linux; Windows 11; Win8.1: Scarletts BIAB2022 UltraPAK, Reaper, a bunch of stuff.

The Bob Doyle Media YouTube channel is known for demonstrating how you can creatively incorporate AI into your projects - from your song projects to avatar building to face swapping, and more!

His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
