Thanks for the feedback Navid! In the first video you posted, I noticed that you have 2 running instances of the Band-in-a-Box Plugin. While doing so should not cause a crash, it is something that we do not officially support doing and may result in unintended behaviour. I will try to replicate that scenario and fix the crash if it occurs.

The second video you sent shows clearly that the plugin is not retrieving the information sent from bbw4 (Style Picker, etc.) so I will also investigate this issue.

In the meantime, I would try a full reboot of your computer. There could be an open instance of bbw4 which is causing issues when you try to use the plugin. Rebooting the computer would be the easiest way to rule out this issue, but if you do not want to reboot, then the other option would be to open the Task Manager and kill bbw4 if it is running.

I would also recommend checking that the folder locations in the plugin are correctly set. Simply open the Preferences dialog in the plugin and click on the "Folder Locations" tab to see where the plugin is looking for Band-in-a-Box. We just had an issue in the Mac version where the folder paths looked correct but were going through the '/Volumes/' directory which is a read only folder. You should also ensure that you have the correct privileges for your Band-in-a-Box folder, to read and write.

Please follow the instructions posted by Jim to create a file called "PreserveAllFiles.txt" in your "/bb/BBPlugin/" folder. Afterwards, you can use the plugin and when it fails to open your song, navigate to /bb/BBPlugin/SavedTracks/ and send me copies of the bbinput.txt, bboutput.txt and bbsong.txt files. These files are written by bbw4 and read by the plugin.

The last thing you can do is create a file called "BBPluginDebug.txt" and place it in "C:\Users\Public\Ticket\". If this file is present in that folder, the plugin will log each action it takes to that file. Once the file exists, you can use the plugin and when it fails, send me a copy of "C:\Users\Public\Ticket\BBPluginLog.txt".

Also, please send me a copy of the song you are trying to open so that I may take a closer look at what is going. My email is aguy@pgmusic.com.

Hope this helps!
