That death chart is wildly inaccurate. It list the drug of choice reasonably well but not the cause of death. It's a sensationalized piece of click bait.
Robert Quine did die due to a heroine overdose but it was his chosen mode of suicide after the death of his wife. It wasn't a matter of him being a "rock smack head" who became lazy or too addled to know what he was doing.
Lynott was a well know heroine user but septicaemia was the prime cause of his death.
There're loads more but I'll not labour the point.

How would we handle fame?
Are we capable of murder?
Do we really know ourselves?
