Use the USB-C cable that comes with the keyboard and plug it in. The DIN 5 cable is for connecting with a MIDI interface and not necessary for simply connecting to BIAB.

Open Audio MIDI Setup.app found in the Utilities folder in Applications, open the MIDI Studio window and you should see your keyboard—it may or may not be named correctly. If you do not see it, best to call Apple Support because if it's not there, BIAB will never see it.

To use a MIDI keyboard with Band-in-a-Box, ensure your keyboard is connected and recognized (above), then configure MIDI input/output ports in BIAB's options. Finally, select a MIDI track to record or play with your keyboard. The BIAB documentation has more info, of course, and tech support is available as well.
