Thanks for the shout out, Always glad to help. In this case SongMasterPro did the heavy lifting at isolating the tambourine. I agree, it worked well likely because there were no other percussion/drums (no high hat, snare or cymbals) except for a timpany which extracted with the bass. Just goes to show every mix is different.

I also agree none of these apps which isolate tracks are perfect, but sometimes they come very close to perfect and other times, they just don't really need to be perfect to get the job done. Again, in this case, we had a very nice production which hopefully can now go to final release with a little post production help and some digital magic.
