I'm going through some growing pains with using BIAB, and I didnt' see anything listed in Help section about adding a ritard for the rhythm section. Is this a possibility? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
Yes, it is possible.
In the latest version, press F5 at a bar near the end, and enter a number in Percentage Change in Tempo. To ritard, the number must be negative, such as -2. Do the same thing at every bar afterward.
This is from Help, Tempo Changes at Bar:
% change in tempo
As an option to typing in an exact new tempo, you can change the tempo by a percentage in a range from –90 to 100. A setting of 100 doubles the tempo, -50 slows it down by half.
This assumes you have a fairly up-to-date version of BIAB; this feature was introduced maybe a year or two ago.

While this does seem to change bar by bar, if you want a smoother, more realistic ritardando, export to a MIDI file and use a MIDI sequencer.

Thanks for posting this! I'd been wondering about this also, but was too lazy to look it up myself.
If there's a ritard in a repeat, there doesn't seem to be a good way of resetting it at the start of the repeat. I split the last bar of the repeat into two bars, with the first having 3 beats, and the last having 1 beat that also restored the tempo. But it's a pretty ugly hack.
