Recorded late at night, when my ears and my voice were very tired. Still ... on listening to it this morning, I'm not sure I could sing it any better, anyway ... my voice has its limitations, sadly  . It's such beautiful music, though, I thought I'd share it anyway. This is an absolutely great version. Your vocal against the soft jazz piano and arrangement works so well. Love those brushes as well.
Excellent and creative. It's always so nice to hear you sing too.

A favorite song of mine, never thought I'd hear it with stride piano. Vocal was good, but seemed like a lot of proximity effect? Overall, quite a treat, James!

Interesting and creative idea! Your voice is fine, I think, except overshadows the music--too loud, perhaps?

A wonderfully stripped down background group to make room forthat vocal. Very well done, James. Good accent too --cool rolling Rs. Very deep tone that grabs ya. Great band, too.

James, super arrangement for vocal accompaniment, and very creative style choice. You're in fabulous voice here, but the recording is off a bit. I agree with Tano Music that it sounds like proximity effect (singing too close to the mic). Selective cutting of some low frequencies can often clear this up. Fabulous song!

Nice work James...you're too close to the microphone so there's a heap of low content booming in the mic. You could throw a high pass EQ on the vocal track which will reduce the bottom end and highlight your upper freqs.
