Desde hace unas horas y de manera repentina no he logrado escuchar los demos en Band in a Box 2020 desde el selector de estilos ni de RealTRacks y Realdrums, los cuales funcionaban bien y sin problema. No he hecho cambios en mi interface de audio y los controladores estan actualizados (Windows 10 64 bits). Cuando se intentan reproducir aparece una nota emergente en amarillo que dice "El reproductor multimedia de Windows no ha podido encontrar el audio ......" y aparece el nombre del archivo que al revisar me he asegurado de que esté en el directorio de demos del programa.
Cualquier ayuda o sugerencia sera altamente bienvenida.
Primero que todo hay que verificar si el Windows Media Player (WMP) se encuentra instalado. Ciertas funciones necesitan WMP para funcionar correctamente, entre ellas la audición de los demos de audio.
Es posible que Windows Media Player se haya llamado en segundo plano durante el inicio o por otro programa. Prueba iniciando WMP antes de iniciar Band-in-a-Box o RB. ¿Puedes reproducir un archivo cuando está en modo independiente? Igualmente es conveniente chequear que no este otra aplicación de audio o del tipo DAW iniciada de manera simultanea con Band-in-a-Box.
También en ocasiones ha dado resultado habilitar la pestaña MME en lugar de ASIO en la configuración de Band-in-a-Box, pero si con esto se soluciona el problema eso sería también indicación de algún otro fallo con respecto a los controladores de ASIO, lo cual habría que revisar.
El siguiente procedimiento también a dado resultados, y es la des-habilitación del "Modo Exclusivo" del audio de Windows:
Entrar a Configuración> Sistema> Audio . En esta ventana deberá hacerse clic en la pestaña Opciones Avanzadas y entramos en la sección Modo Exclusivo. Aqui desmarcaremos la casilla: "Permitir que las aplicaciones tomen el control exclusivo de este dispositivo"
Con estas indicaciones esperamos que el problema sea solucionado. Caso contrario por favor notificanos por aqui para continuar investigando las causas y la respectiva solución.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
