We welcomed our newest grand-baby into the world a couple of weeks ago so I thought what better incentive to write a song. Keep in mind this tune is written with the hopes of bringing a smile to this newborn's face as she grows up to be a young lady.

With this said I obviously wanted to make it personal so some of the lyric (as is) might not work for the general public but maybe with a few changes it might be adapted to fit others.

The 1st draft of Ana's Song can be found here 1st Song On The Page on the Left

Ana's Song - I Love You More

I love you more than the desert has sand
I love you more than your little fingers love your hand
I love you more than the monkey loves banana
Well that's how much I love you Ana

A love as strong as your mother's for your father
I love you more than the fishies love their water
I love you more than the monkey loves banana
Well that's how much I love you Ana

The sand in the desert, the blue in the sky
the water in the ocean and the mountain is high,
and don't forget the monkey and banana
That's how much I love you Ana

A love as strong as your father's for your mother
I love you more than Cooper loves peanut butter
and did I mention how the monkey loves banana?
That's how much I love you Ana

Just as strong as paw paw's love for Granny
I love you more than baby powder loves your little fanny
and do you reeeee call how the monkey loves banana?
Well that's how much I love you Ana

The birdies love the trees the bless your loves your sneeze
the honey that's so sweet your little toes love your feet
and never forget how the monkey love banana
That's how much I love you Ana (Tag)

The line about "Cooper liking peanut butter" is a reference to their bigger than life Golden Retriever who has to be bribed with peanut butter in a jar when he is to be left at home alone for short periods of time.

Danny C.,

I love this! Love everything about it. So happy and sweet and feel good with the reggae. And love the bgv answering.

It sounds great to me. Love the mix. Ana has a very talented Pawpaw.

Danny,

Created something for Ana that is so fabulous.
The type of music and beat is something a very small
child would like. I can just see her clapping and/or
dancing to the music in the years ahead.

Really like the "long echo" dont know what that is called.
Very unique and fits nicely in the song. The lyrics
and story are so happy. Your voice, I assume you
altered accent a bit for the Reggae, but fits great.

Your vocals are Fun in the song, keeping up the type of
music it is. The talking vocals are really a nice touch.

I would not pooh, pooh this as too personal.

Great production!

Thanks for sharing with us.

Hi Danny,

Words that popped into my head as I listened were "creative", "catchy", "brilliant". You've really put together an excellent song. The composition, the arrangement, and the mix are top notch in every way.

I'm going back for another listen.

All the best to you and your family!
Noel

To Josie, Frank, Noel FrankB and Noel96:

Thank you all very much for taking the time to listen and to offer your kind words of encouragement regarding Ana's Song. And for understanding it for what it is, just a little fun tune that I hope will hit home with her as she is growing up. It has already hit home with her parents, but since she is only 3 weeks old I have a little longer wait for her reviews.

Again your encouragement might just get me to place pen to paper a little more frequently as I both appreciate and value you guys opinions.

PS: Personally we faired very well through the recent storm, but I pray for others.

Thanks again,

grandkid songs are great! This one is quite excellent, and i know that Ana will (probably) really like it, then completely forget about it, then re-discover it sometime in the distant future when it brings smiles and tears about Grandpa and how he loved her!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
