SONG TITLE : "WOMEN LIKE TO ROCK HARD TOO ! " (THE HARDER THE BETTER) ARTIST : moi..ALF-L..(a lad from london (c)) ****BEFORE PLAYING THE SONG PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING.**** 1.. THIS ONE CAN GET LOUD SO WATCH YOUR LEVELS. feel free to critique and use earbuds if possible. (a likkle demo). 2.. rather than a forensic analysis maybe comment as to whether the 'man/woman in the street' might like it...eg.. 'song hooks' etc. heres a little guessing game for the listener lmao..on the vegas style vocal outtro guess who was i trying to sound a bit like ?? one of my 'passions' is trying various vocal styles/accents for fun.lol. so tell me your opinion of the ending. 3..BACKSTORY. this song used powertraks originally ..then a small studio helped me lots..and then later realband 'bit of tarting up' etc..song originally came from a powertraks built in drum pattern i was mucking about with that gave me the song idea. i'm always getting into these crazy song idea moods...lol. my wife likes to say 'lifes never boring.with my big oaf' she dont like boring. the back story is i often have song ideas out n' about with my loverly wife .at a restaurant or coffee shop or other places. in this case i heard these women talking bout how they liked to rock hard....just like us blokes do. one said 'blokes are so stoopid sometimes' <<<<true...lol. another said...'Dont our blokes know we like to rock out..the harder the better'. and they both laughed. i used 'sorta' an east london cockney english rock vocal style. (my heritage.) so a song idea was born. its a pretty simple song. but i enjoyed doing it. for me i believe music was sent to us to have lotsa fun with. and thats what i'm all about. i agree with MR Gannon...HAVE FUN !! apologies if the listener dont like it. i rather like the bass thru' the song. Om, yes I think the man/woman on the street would like this. Great groove, super guitar licks. Great vocal. This should go over big on a rock blues radio station.
I want my last spoken words to be "I hid a million dollars under the........................"

Groovin', rockin', rollin' and the perfect example of one of those can't-sit-down songs. It kinda gets in your soul. I like the drive and especially the pushes in this one. Right after this one, Raceway came on. I guess I really enjoy everything you do, Om.

A high-energy 80s type rocker. I think the average person on the street would like this... even the bleedin' tossers too. I enjoyed this!

Fun story into a good old British rock'n'roll. Good riffs and great solo. "The harder the better" would be a good title on its own too (for another song) Janne

I enjoyed this man. Has a Ringo vibe to it.
Rock On Baby !!!
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2024 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

All.
your listens and comments are very very appreciated.
this song was meant to show a bit of my wild rock side. i can remember silly stuff i did when i was a very young east london lad…before i went off to uni.
but as my wife says…we all do stoopid things growing up …lol.
your all great talented people and i wish you all only lots of enjoyment in song creation.
health, wealth n' happiness to you all.

Has a bit of a late Stiff Record era record...some Damned ish tones and a bit of the New Rose riff in the intro too. Musically, and particularly with the vocal level, it sounds like it ought to be reborn as a rockabilly tune. The vocal reminds me of the singer in the band, the one who loses his toes, at the beginning of Slade's FLAME. Nice work.

Sounds like a hit direct from 70's Top Of The Pops that's been around for decades. It didn't grow on me, I was there instantly, instant appeal.

Good Rockin’ groove, vocals and the grungy guitar sound fits well. You had Janice dancing in the kitchen. Fun! J&B

Sort of pre-punk flavours here. Reminded me of "I gotta woman as mean as she can be".

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
