Hello, a long time ago I wrote this song, it was just a guitar vocal in 1994. I recorded different versions of it in different studios I recorded a "keyboard Sax" version of it, sounded OK that was done in 1997. Then I recorded another country version of it in 2010 with Original musicians sounded exceptional, but some of the interments sounded somewhat fake my friend was trying to do a good job, so I didn't say anything. Then, I purchased the standard $99.00 version of "Band In A Box" Experimented with it for about 8 months pretty good with the real instruments, so I purchased the Everything Pack of "Band in A Box" for $400.00 I went off of the original lead sheet and corded it in "Band In A Box 2011.5 Everything Pack" and this is what I came up with. Check it out on YouTube Here is a link. Also check out my other videos and don't forget to comment and vote on my song. Thanks without further A due here is the link for my song called "Crying For Love" the rock version.

Thanks I have been singing since I was about 10, I always wanted to do that. Now with Band in a Box I will get to do that. All I have to do is create my Chord Progression's with my Chord Wheel in hand, then I just listen to what I have created over and over, then I will eventually get the tune going through my head form the words that I have written. At least I don't think that my songs sound like any7thing that I have heard, thanks Bob Pidgeon, Oh and check out some of my other videos. I just uploaded 5 more that I created solely with Band in A Box. I just let the soloist do it's thing. Let me know what you think. Leave a comment, and vote here is the link to my channel.

Good job on the backing, you are getting the hang of BIAB pretty quickly. Good vocals, you just need recording and mixing experience. Right now I hear too much vibrato in the performance and too much reverb in the mixing. It is a long process and it is one step at a time. Keep doing what you are doing, you have the skills to do some really fine stuff.

Welcome, Bob. I liked this one. Good choice of backing tracks and great voice. My only negative thought is: Wow, you compressed the sap outa that track. My speakers nearly blew before I could crank it down. I guess that's the modern trend in pop music so stay with what you have. Just saying.

OK, I just got done listening to the songs on the page where you left the link for me, well done my friend. Are all your compositions done in Band in a Box? If they are, then the one that you did from Garth Brooks The Dance is done really well. If this is done with BIAB can you send me the chord progression? And let me know what style of Country you done it in. I hope to hear from you soon. you can email me at rapidgeon9@bmi.net

Bob,

Thank you so much for the kudos but I must confess, that's my eldest son, Gordon, singing to a store-bought backing track. Pretty well done, I might add. I only helped with the mix, all else was backing tracks except Gordon did something like nine harmony vocals, even the background chatter. Gordon and my second son, Don Jr., toured the Phoenix Casino Circuit for awhile but Gordon's day gig is as a Deputy Sheriff in Seattle. Of all the Gaynors he has the best-trained voice, me thinks.

Thanks again for listening and your generous compliments. I will pass them along to Gordon.

So, did you get a chance to listen to the country version of my song called "Crying For Love"? This version was done with, Well some real instruments, mostly! I and 2 other friends did the backing for it. I have a friend that used to be with the band called "Country Rose Band" he was the guitar player and back up vocals, but he also did all interments too' Just like my other friend that has been a musician for over 40 some odd years. The reason that I bought band in a box was so that I could break free of co-writing, authoring, and composing with other people. The reason that I did this was because I got a chance for a recording contract on our "One Golden Cross CD" in Tulsa Oklahoma with a company called "Tate Music Group" and I had to turn it down because the other guy didn't want to go for it. I am part owner in the copyright, but the other "co-author" has to give their permission, so I bought "band in a box" to learn how to compose all my own music. I think that I am getting the hang of it with Tech Support though. I bought the everything pack, it cost about $400.00, but you can do so much with it, I am learning about using the program more and more each time I use it. When I am sufficient in doing my own songs, I will not have to share the copyright and will be able to do whatever I want to do with my songs. I am so glad that they have created this program though, it has already taught me so much. If I want to get and keep a recording contract with stuff that I create I can do so without having to clear it with anybody else. I can create the tracks with BIAB and get my ideas across, and re-record it with real instruments just in case their has to be any major changes. it can be done in the studio. Well, here is the link to the country version of my song called "Crying For Love" Here you go

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
