I'm such a sucker for old soul so when I heard this song on the radio I couldn't help but create a cover of it. I used a MIDI file of the song for the song and found the Texas Blues Style 12/8 in Band in a Box to create the rhythm tracks. Of course as usual all vocals are mine and the tracks are exported/imported into Sonar for vocal recording and mixing and mastering. The video attached is a short version of me singing the song on camera but there is also a full version of the song on my You Tube channel. One thing I like about BIAB is that I can recreate covers of songs I love pretty quickly changing keys so I can sing them or just adding a new dimension to the tracks. Rob and Anne-Marie Thanks for the kind comments. I sing my own background vocals. I have to. BIAB background vocals usually do not work for me because they are just oohs and aahs. A lot of my background vocals are phrases. Just for fun you can check out this video of my new release. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
