Hi,
I believe that the Synthmaster Player came with BBW 2022.
I am trying to upgrade to the full version and I need the licence number for the free player.
Does anyone know where can I find it please?
I cannot find the program to download it again from PG server and currently I have only the Plugin version... I am confused.

It's your Synthmasterlicensekey.txt file and it's in your KV331 Audio directory. If it is not there here is how to get a license key: http://synthmaster.com/synthmaster/documents/synthmasterplayerusermanual.pdfI hope this helps and good luck.

This window for the Synthmaster registration shouldn't be coming up, but we found it occasionally happens if the computer has a previous version of Synthmaster already installed.
Please close out of Band-in-a-Box and go to this folder directory: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\SynthMasterPlayer
In this folder please delete the following two files:
Config\SynthMasterPlayerConfig
synthmasterplayerlicensekey.txt
Then open Band-in-a-Box again and see if you still get the SynthMaster registration window.

Can you please confirm if the version that came with BIAB is the standard Player or the Player FREE?
I have now installed the FREE version hence in order for me to upgrade to SM 2 I would first need to buy the SM Player, which is different from the SM Player FREE. Confusing or what?
The FREE version has only 550 presets instead of 2000. I seem to recall that the one that came with BIAB had 2000 presets. Maybe I am wrong.
If the one that came with BIAB is the normal SM2 Player, then I would like to download it again from the original PG server. Hopefully this makes sense.

OK. It is all sorted now.
The good people at KV331 Audio gave me a licence for the SM Player as apparently the one that came with BB was the LITE version.
That allowed me to upgrade to the full version of SM 2.9.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
