I don't remember any other time other than the advent of RealTracks where there has been such a leap in the progress of Biab and the BBPlugin (Reaper) in one release, are PG developers now taking performance enhancing drugs ? or just sick of hearing nagging users ? I think that Live Arranger could be very close even if Reaper for now, has to be used to get it and allowing you to track out the Live Arranger session if need be that let's you keep arrangements/progression/ideas you come up with on the fly rather than having to type chords in, generate and try.

Thanks! We are also still working on direct-play for the plugin, which would be a big step for the plugin (all DAWS including Reaper). The Live Arranger idea is great, and hopefully applicable to many DAWS.

I agree, this update is definitely a huge step in the right direction.
So far I would give:
RT's: A (very good variety, but missing much needed orchestral and winds, which are tough to program right if you are not a player)
MTP Library: A+
All generation speed improvements: A+
Partial Regen F8, especially in track view (and other views too): A+
Track view: C convenient, but needs more work, tools, and especially much needed vertical cursor.
VST3 support A (that was said to be coming later in the year. A bit ahead of time, but I doubt there will be surprises)
Overall I am very happy with this update.
My main wishes for PGM is to concentrate more on standardizing workflow across views & general consistency (tracks) + timely fix known issues. If MTP with all the extras was done in a year, I have faith that many good things can be accomplished in near future.

The Live Arranger idea is great, and hopefully applicable to many DAWS. That will be good if you get the files playing direct inside the plugin, this allowing the plugin to work as a Live Arranger also and being able to record the track's data that was played and then playback or send/transfer/render into the DAW if need be.

yep agree exciting concepts...my dreams...lol
..i can edit in yummy new bb tracks view like i can in a daw.
and bbtv becomes my song work center...
..built in vocal ai so i can gen femme back up vocs to go with my male vocs.
just to name a couple of dreams..p!us win a lottery ...lol

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
