I'm generally using the one-long-song method for my BIAB 2010.5 compositions. I've noticed however that most styles seem to have variants that occur in the second or third repeats. I often like them, and wonder if I can get them to occur without having to actually use a repeat. I'd also love to have them to occur when I want them to, not necessarily in the order they occur in the style.
Also, is there a place I can actually... see them? I'm considering starting to use RealBand, is that going to be a way to be able to manage this better?
Thanks for any help, Bandmoose.

What you might be describing is simply the default behavior of BIAB to go to the B substyle in middle choruses. The B substyle (green marker) is 'busier' sounding than the A substyle (blue). You can force blue or green wherever you want. Some styles have further variations (different colors).
Also, see Options, Preferences, Overrides and the checkbox for 'Vary Style in Middle Choruses'.

Hi Bandmoose,
Further to Matt's comments above, I have just had a look through the pdf manual for 2010.5 (it was under my "Start Menu" >> Band In A Box) and there's some useful information on part markers and multistyles on page 67.
Regards, Noel

Okay, thanks Matt and Noel, I didn't realize that it was just defaulting to one of the substyles, that makes sense. I thought maybe the style had something else built into it for the second time through.
Ticking and unticking that checkbox you pointed out:
"Options, Preferences, Overrides -'Vary Style in Middle Choruses'."
That really helped me hear how it works. Thanks.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
