Another thread about missing styles got me curious, so I went to "What add-ons do I have" ? and under the 'These add-ons are not found...' section I get this:
"Soloist Disk Sets : 14 Jeff Lorber Fusion, 15 Jeff Lorber Guitar"
I have the 2012 Everything PAK, so I'd assume I should have these, right ? I quick check of real tracks confirms I don't have any JL Fusion stuff ? Not a big deal to me, but was expecting to find out I have everything.
UPDATE: Looks like these are MIDI Artist Series Soloist add on packs ? SOLAS14 and SOLAS15

Those two were ADDITIONAL add-ons in BIAB 2007 - there were three that year: 12, 17, and 25 PAK .
Jeff Lober was part of the 25 pak add-on and Andy Laverne was part of the 17-pak and they have not been offered in any "Ultra" OR "Everything" bundles since.
I usually get the everything pak (plus all the additional add-on for the "few bucks more" offer every year, yes redundant as hell, but none of my records indicate that these have been in ANY pak since.
(I won't be doing those all options any more - since I've been semi-forced into my 2nd and hopefully last retirement)
I think they can be bought separately but you'd need to check with PG Sales
Good luck and Happy New Year Larry

Thanks for the history Larry ! I started with 2010. Yep, I can buy them both for $60. ... think I'll pass. Mystery solved, now on to bigger issues.

I was curious about this also. The ultra pack is supposed to have soloist 1-11, 16-20, everything pack is soloist 1-13, 16-20. I just got the everything pack and I have the Andy Laverne but not the Lorber. I am thinking the 2 Laverne soloists are 12 and 13 included, and the Lorber are 14 and 15 not included. However I had the Laverne for quite a while and I don't know if it was left over from a previous BIAB install or not.

This is a good reason why we recommend installing over old versions, to keep whatever bonus paks you may have installed along the way.

yep
Soloistis: 12 Andy Laverne Mainstream, 13 Andy Laverne Pentatonic, 14 Jeff Lorber Fusion, 15 Jeff Lorber Guitar,
That's the trouble with advising people to do "clean installs" (without warning them to save what they have first) you could end up missing something that is no longer included! The Everythgin pak is NOT EVERYTHING. I've been installing over the SAME BIAB directory since DOS!
Nice thing is since BIAB doesn't write to Windows registry (yet) when I move from one hard drive to the next and one OS to the next I simply copy "in tote" my entire "D:\music\.." directory of which BB is just one sub directory. While I have to reinstall each version of Sonar, Roland editors, Yamaha support SW, PowerTracks DirectX Plugins, all my VST's etc. etc. , I NEVER worry about BIAB - I just make a new shortcut to the BBW.exe and I'm off and it's all there!
I wish ALL SW would avoid the registry!

Experiencing the same issue, I went through all my previous versions and found Jeff Lorber's soloist sets on the disc labeled: Band-In-A-Box Upgrade to 22PAK. The file date for the setup.exe file is 11/27/2003. The Band-In-A-Box version is not listed on the CD. I installed the CD and now I have all the add-ins for my 2012.5 edition.

DigitalDean, welcome to the forum.
Therein is a good tip, to make sure that you keep ALL the old BIAB 'PAK' CDs like you did, even if you might think you can get rid of the older ones.
As mentioned above, you can just continue to install into the same folder and everything will be available. But it's good to be able to reconstruct everything in case the hard drive ever goes down.

Just got the info that "Soloist discs 14 and 15 are not included in any package due to a royalty agreement with the artist."

Also, Soloist Discs 12 and 13 are a special purchase, but have been included with some "bonus paks" at times (as have 14 and 15, as previously indicated).

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
