I made the song with BIAB, and changed a fiddle sound to a resonator, and just saved it as SGU . Then I go to Real Band, go to File, and Import. I select my song and after a few seconds it appears on the Real Band tracks, but the fiddle is there, not the resonator.
Can anyone tell me what little thing am I doing wrong?

Hi Paddy,
Firstly, you can just click File > Open instead of Import to open a Band in a Box song.
As for your actual issue - I'm not sure at this point what would be causing that. What exact version of RealBand are you using (Help > About RealBand)? What style is being used in the song? Are you sure you're trying to open the correct file (perhaps you have an old version that you're opening bofore you added the resonator?)

Did you play the BIAB file (at least the first few seconds) after changing to resonator before saving it? Give that a try and see if it works.

If it will play in Biab why not render as a wave and import to RB if your problem still exists.

The style is TRAINF Ctry Train Bt w Fiddle, so maybe the fiddle part can't be taken out.
Anyway, I made a WAV of it, and it works fine. I did pay it in BIAB to hear the resonator, and I saved it as SGU with the 3 different floppy disc icons, using 3 different song names. When I go back to play them, the fiddle is still there. But not to worry, I'm happy with Tommyc's suggestion.

Are you inserting the resonator via F5 for a portion of the song and still having the fiddle play for a portion? It has always been my experience (gave up trying) that RB will not honor any F5 adjustments when moving from BIAB to RB.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
