One feature I would REALLY like to see is storing the count-in settings with the rendered WAV file... I generally have my CountIns set to one-bar. But there are some tunes with pickups that require a 2-bar count-in to know where you are. The rendered WAV files apparently don't store this information so I have to manually go into the "Preferences | Count-Ins" on-stage, and change the setting as required. Would it be possible to have BiaB store the Count-In with the WAV file so it "remembers" the setting at the time of Rendering?

I too would like to see this feature. I am currently experimenting with WAV rendered files, as I have been trying out a laptop software called Media Monkey for use in playback of my BIAB generated tunes in live performance. In Media Monkey I can list my songs in any order of play and I can also interrupt the auto playback function in any position by pausing/Restart through toggle of the SPACEBAR on the keyboard. Also works with my HID footswitch. I have tried to do this in BIAB with the Jukebox feature but if a song is interrupted midstream the auto play of Jukebox is cancelled.

Thanks!
I've been working a jazz-single at a new club in Denver with my BiaB rig, and I've got so much new stuff that I've created with the new tracks...I need to get someone down there and get some videos and live recordings made.
I appreciate the kind words...

Hi Brandy,
I believe I have found a solution to my problem of missing count-ins in some of my WAV rendered files.
I have some songs that I use that are downloaded MIDI files for which I did not need to make alterations to. I just saved them as BIAB files. These files appear not to include Drum Count-Ins or 1-2 Bar intros when copied as WAV rendered files.
I loaded one of the unaltered BIAB/MIDI somgs and attempted to inserted a BIAB style into the song. When I did this a dialogue box appears advising me “This style has been disable for this song – do I want to go ahead anyway”? I select yes and then found a suitable style for the song which I saved. I then produced a WAV rendered copy of the new version and found it has now included the 1-2 BAR intro & Drum Count-Ins.
My conclusion is that unless a song includes BIAB styles it will not successfully copy Drum-Count-Ins
By the way my version of BIAB is 2012 Deluxe

I have the same version...2012... But with few exceptions, the tracks I have were all created from scratch because I don't used MIDI, and with the exception of a few bossas with MIDI strings, and an occasional MIDI Rhodes-piano part, all of my stuff is realtracks.
And even with created-from-scratch RealTracks tunes, it responds to the "Preferences/Count-Ins" settings rather than having the countin stored with the WAV file. So, I don't think what I'm experience fits your scenario. But THANKS!

Sorry that did not help. Have you tried contacting through the SUPPORT section of this web. I contacted them through their email provided and their response was good and quick. One of the suggestions in their responding email was to invoke a "Return to Factory Settings". Perhaps this would work You can only try.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
