every time I exit real band it turns gray like windows does it now for win7 when the program isn't responding. but almost immediately it pops up a window stating that it didn't close correctly and my choices are to close the program anyway or look for a solution online (fruitless to even click that one).
then every time I start RB back up again it tells me it crashed on exit last time and wants to know if I want to restore everything to default for a safe start. I've tried both yes and no and I get the same results every time. it always crashes like this on exit.
I'm running win7x64. I'm running RB from the external hard drive.

Hello,
I have update #6 but I still have a similar problem. It crashes after I have deleted or erased a track, then imported a WAV file, then tried to save the project. It's a real nusiance.

Looks like I missed all the fun! lol! Pat - "cone of shame" - I have several of those in various colors and my wife has the key to them. Ray - what are your computer specs? what soundcard are you using? which driver mode?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
