Hello,
I've got a RealBand song that I am recording a guitar track into. I'm using a Behringer "Guitar Link" USB interface and the corresponding Behringer ASIO driver. The latency is just long enough to be noticable and annyoing in the finished recording, with the guitar track being slightly delayed from all the other tracks. Is there some setting in RB to compensate for this? I did see such a setting for MIDI but nothing for ASIO.
Thanks, Ray

Hi Ray.
There's a couple of ways you can do this.
1) In the TRACKS WINDOW highlight the audio and drag it to the new location using the mouse.
2) My preferred way is to open the AUDIO EDIT WINDOW and you can see how far the track is delayed. Highlight the blank bit at the start of the track and use CUT with CLOSE GAP to remove it. If it's not exactly right, use UNDO and repeat until it sounds in time.
ROG.

Come on ROG. I know you know better.Go into the settings for the interface and lower the buffer settings until there's no more latency then rerecord your track.

Hi Starman and welcome to the forum.
Perhaps you'd like to explain that statement a little further?

I don't know what you mean by "reset the latancy", but what Rog suggested will indeed align the out-of-synch track with the rest of the project.
What John suggested is the preferred fix for the following reason: If you do it John's way, your tracks will be in alignment from then on. If you do it the other way, you'll have to keep manually aligning tracks forever.
But both ways work.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
