Hallo,
ich habe eine gebrauchte Version von BiaB 2006 deutsch erworben und die CD funtioniert nicht.
Ich habe die CD gewaschen und irgenwann löste sich teilweise das Label (Papieraufdruck)
in der Mitte steht 48x CDR
die anderen zwei sind PGM Cds ohne Papieraufdruck.
Der Verkäufer versicherte mir das es die orginal CD wäre, bekomme aber mein Geld zurück da es nicht funktioniert auf mehreren Rechnern getestet.
Bitte könnt ihr mal nachsehen ob bei eurer CD auch 48x CDR innen im Ring der CD eingepresst ist.
Ich finde sonst müsste man einen Ersatz für die CD bekommen (kleine Gebühr selbstverständlich / Porto etc)
Pappkarton sowie 3x CD und 2x Handbücher vorhanden.

Ich habe diese Version zwar nicht, aber:
Immer Vorsicht mit beklebten CDs. Manchmal löst der Leim auf Dauer die Oberfläche der CD auf (nicht vollständig, aber das reicht). Wer länger Zugriff auf die Daten haben will, sollte beklebte CDs also immer sofort auf ein anderes Medium sichern.
Diese CDs sind dann unbrauchbar. die Oberseite ist immer die empfindlichere Seite, da sie Laserstrahl reflektieren soll. Wenn sie nicht mehr reflektiert, dann ist die CD unrettbar verloren, mit Ausnahme für talentierte Forensiker vielleicht.

Danke für deine Antwort, leider war sie auch vor meinen versuchen unlesbar, da war die Schicht noch in Ordnung.
Warscheinlich ist sie vom alter her chemisch verändert und unleserlich.
Mich interessiert vor allem ob es wirklich ein Orginal ist.
Sah jedenfalls sehr echt aus, sah auch nicht nach Papier aus eher wie Kunststoff bevor ich sie gewaschen hatte.
Auch Rescue-Programme können überhaupt nichts lesen, nichtmal Bruchstücke.

Du hast gerade bestätigt, was ich geschrieben habe. Eine gebrannte CD, bei den gepressten ist es etwas anderes, ist definitiv zerstört, wenn die Oberfläche der "Bild"-Seite zerstört ist. Nach sechs Jahren kann sich natürlich auch die CD durch die natürliche Alterung selbst auch chemisch verändert haben, ein eventueller Lichteinfall, UV-Strahlung, tut seinen Teil dazu...
Du hast oben geschrieben, du bekämst Dein Geld zurück. Nimm das Angebot an und kauf dir die neue Version. Seit 2006 hat sich viel verändert -- die Grundfunktionen sind allerdings immer noch ungefähr gleich -- und für einige Updates und Add-Ons, z.B. RealTracks, brauchst Du sowieso eine neuere Version.
Bei den beiden größeren Varianten (UltraPlusPAK, EverythingPAK) bestellst Du am besten die Version auf der USB-Festplatte. die ist innerhalb weniger Tage bei Dir. (Als ich vor Jahren bestellt hatte, wurde bei der Lieferung Zoll für den Wert der Festplatte fällig, aber nicht für die Software. Darauf gibt es aber keine Garantie -- vielleicht hat ja Herr Schäuble schon gemerkt wie viel Geld ihm da durch die Lappen geht.) Die Installation ist problemlos. Bei den anderen ist die E-Delivery durchaus eine gute Option.

nach tiefem Wühlen (hab inzw. die 2013) hab ich die alte 2006 gefunden und da ist tatsächlich CD-R 48X als Klare schrift im inneren Milchglasring...Aber wie ein Vorschreiber meinte.. ne aktuelle Version lohnt sich..

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
