Hallo BIAB user,
ich bin im Internet beim Stöbern auf eins Sammlung von Realbook Stücken für BIAB gestoßen. Tolle Sache, alles schon fertig arrangiert. Was mich interessieren würde ist eine Frage der Copyrights. Das ist ja bei Noten sehr streng. Wie ist das denn, wenn ich mir diese Klassiker als Leadsheet ausdrucke (mit BIAB), mit Akkorden und Melodie? Kann ich die so erstellten Leadsheets legal auch kommerziell verwenden, z.B. mit der Band?
Ich weiß, das ein Forum keine juristischen Fragen beantworten kann. Vielleicht kann mir trotzdem jemand sagen wie es sich damit verhält? Sonst müßte ich nämlich einen Rechtsanwalt fragen und das ist teuer.

... wenn nicht gekauft, also weder "Original" noch "Originalquittung" vorhanden, dann ist es wahrscheinlich nicht legal im Sinne des Copyrights.

Hoffentlich braucht man heutzutage noch keine 'Quittung', wenn man etwa mit Zettel und Bleistift Noten aus einer CD transkribiert. Für Fragen zu Aufführungsrechten z.B. für eine Band sind Organisationen vom Typ Gema zuständig.

Na ja, die Frage war nach heruntergeladenen Dateien und dann ausdrucken und dann noch kommerziell verwenden.
Das handschriftliche Erstellen einer Kopie für den Eigenbedarf (!) ist natürlich erlaubt -- irgendwo gelesen im Rahmen der Vor- und Nachbereitung zu einem Vortrag über Urheberrecht, die Quelle dazu habe ich gerade nicht auswendig abrufbar.
Wenn Musik schon fertig arrangiert ist, dann haben ja nicht nur Ton- und Textdichter und der Verlag Urheberrechte, auch der Arrangeur hat sie. Bei den Arrangeuren für das Zeugs aus dem Internet habe ich so meine Zweifel, ob die auch Mitglied in einer Urheberrechtswahrungsgesellschaft sind. Wenn nicht, dann müssen die extra für die Aufführungsrechte angefragt werden. (Immer vorausgesetzt, jemand will alles richtig machen.) Die könnten dann ablehnen, GEMA kann das nicht. GEMA unterliegt einem Kontraktionszwang.

Naja, die Seite, wo ich das runtergeladen habe sieht recht seriös aus mit Impressum etc. Weiß zufällig jemand, wo man solche Realbook Playbacks für BIAB kaufen kann?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
