Was it a bad idea to install Biab 2015 over 2009.5 I am not getting any realtracks to show up? Any suggestions?

Which upgrade package did you buy?
You also may need to tell BIAB where the RealTracks are installed.

The install usually remembers the location of Real Tracks and Real Drums. You may need to go into Options/Preferences and hit the "Real Tracks" button and give it the "Custom Folder," There is also a "Find and Fix" button in there.

I checked the Realband preferences and it says all realtracks are found and no st2 files are missing. It is standard c:\bb\realtracks. The real drums work but none of the Realband styles show under style picker and also the best of realtracks will play. But style picker is not showing the RealTracks

Also I have everything pack 2015 so I should have all the tracks listed shouldn't I. None of the Realtrack category tracks are available all I get are the demos.

Installing over the top of a previous version of BIAB is definitely the best way to do things.
Adding on to jford's post above ...
When you installed BIAB using the setup file on the USB drive, which option did you choose? For example, did you choose the 'full install' to your harddrive option or the 'minimal install', etc?

I chose the full install which for a fact I am sure the Harddrive copied correctly yesterday I checked the files on both the hd and c:/bb/realtracks directory. But the style picker the regular one not from real tracks shows most tracks as if they aren't there and I'm not sure are the audition demos the song that is made with those are there some Real tracks without the songs. It seems Biab went up to 77 styles for midi but some of those will substitute real track styles but like Jazz in style picker is entirely telling me that I don't have the tracks listed I get ok for ST2 and I get the right real tracks.

I know from experience that it takes quite a while to install the BIAB EverythingPak. As I'm sitting here typing, though, I find myself wondering if maybe some antivirus software has interrupted the installing process. It sometimes happens.
If this was my problem, what I'd be doing is ....
1. Disable any antivirus software.
2. Disable screen savers and power saving options. (Alternatively, I could sit at the computer and move the mouse every 5 minutes or so.)
3. Run the setup.exe program on the USB drive and install the program again. (It takes around an hour to install.)

I just noticed RealTracks above and I rebuilt the styles in that and now I think things work. The style picker suggests the styles at the top which it wasn't doing before; so I think it is working

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
