Dave,
The bonus tracks are located along with all the other tracks. Did you purchase them when you up-graded? Usually, they do not automatically come with any of the BIAB packages unless specifically stated. Also, was there a particular track you were after but cannot find?
Regards, Noel

Hi Noel,
Yup, I've always purchased them with the upgrades. I'm going to be setting up a new computer very soon and so i was wondering where to find the previous years bonuses. I have all the drives going back to 2013. they should be somewhere on those older drives. That's really the question ... if I set up a new computer how do I get the older tracks moved over?
thanks for getting back, Dave

Hi Dave,
I see what you mean. Thank you for the extra information.
Given my limited experience from only getting the audiophile edition this time around, it seems that there are two possible scenarios to consider. These are below...
1. wma files on computer drives
If, at some point in time, you installed the wma files on your computer's hard drive and then simply kept overwriting that installation with new program versions, you will have all that you need in the \bb directory. Copy that entire directory to your new computer. Because it's around 100 GB, it will take a while but it's worth the effort.
You will also need to consider point #2 below so that you have all wav file versions of Realtracks.
2. Realtracks and Realdrums on USB drive
What you will need to do is to copy all bonus Realtrack folders from each USB drive onto your new drive. You will also need to copy the associated ST2 and XT2 files.
It will be easy to see yearly bonus material because it will not have a sub-folder in your latest version's \Realtracks or \Drums folders.
Lastly, it will also be necessary to consider MIDI Supertracks as these too have been supplied as bonuses. At this stage, I do not know what is needed for MIDI Supertrack maintenance.
Hopefully Matt Finley will see this post and offer some insight. He's used the audiophile version for years and so has probably upgraded in such a way that he keeps all bonus material from year to year.
Regards, Noel
P.S. I wonder if PG Music have a pdf that gives instructions on how to update the Audiophile edition so that bonus material from previous versions is maintained?

HI Noel, thanks for the insights. I have the summer to work it all out. I've always Done the 2nd installation choice which I think installs the WMA files ... anyway it's about 60 gig and then installed over the previous year. I can always do that again.
Best regards Dave

Yes, I have the audiophile version and yes, I keep it upgraded. I keep the downloaded .EXE files for each release and each update in a folder for safekeeping, and I keep the Setup .EXE files for all the bonus track paks in there too. This folder is regularly backed up onto a PC in another physical location. I should be able to reconstruct using those files.
Actually, in recent years, I've only updated two production machine drives: an internal SSD drive with the program, and a fast internal hard drive with the RealTracks/RealDrums. The one time I built another main PC, I just dropped those two drives in and kept going after doing the minimal install option.
I upgrade the supplied PG Music USB drives as well, but I wait a few weeks after major releases to do so (in case errors are discovered).
It might be a good idea to get some instructions from PG Music on all this, including perhaps a master list of all files and their source. I realize this list would be enormous, but maybe an online database of file names, date, purpose and source would allow us to track down anything missing. PG Music does have a menu option, What Add-ons Do I Have that is helpful, but I'm not sure that it gives all the answers. For example, I'm pretty sure my bonus add-ons are .WMA files only. And I'm not sure I have everything I possibly could have. Add to that the custom install technique I use and, although I'm very experienced moving files around, I can't promise I didn't miss something. For example, there are .ST2 and .XT2 files in the main /bb folder required for the RealTracks to work, but no way to match them up.
Another user here wrote a nifty utility for audiophile users that checks to see if every .WMA file has a corresponding .WAV file. I beta tested it, and PGMusic is aware of it.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
