You guys who play in combos, especially jazz, know that, typically, when you end a song, you'll do something like all hit the last chord and hold it, letting the instruments fade. We need this capability in BIAB. The BIAB endings are typically too abrupt and unmusical-sounding.

Also, in 'held chord' endings, it's a common practice to 'noodle around' a bit before everybody looks at each other for a 'stinger', to use march music terminology (final short note). In other words, you:

1. Hold the chord on the last measure
2. Lead instrument noodles around on the chord, and/or the drummer does some fills, and
3. Everybody hits a short, strong last note as a punctuation to end the song. (not always- sometimes it's fun to just let everything fade to silence)

Can PG Music possibly work out how to provide these capabilities as a song option or style option? It would be a great enhancement to give arrangements even more realism.

How about a 'Held Ending' dialog box with checkbox options to add 'noodling around' by the melody instrument, and optionally, any of the other instruments in the rhythm section? And have the option to select how much noodling by each instrument. Well, there's probably a better term than 'noodling' for this, but you know what I mean. :-)

Thanks,
Doug
