I think there is probably an easier way of getting the "underlying MIDI" for the Realtracks (Realcharts?), but at the time, I didn't know how. Imported into SONAR and started whittling away. Vocals by me and, again, helped by Melodyne. I usually "double" my vocal with the original "pitch-challenged" vocal and the Melodyne- adjusted one--since for FAWM I'm pretty much hurrying through and doing a vocal in 1 take. I really liked the driving beat, which sat perfectly, not too in front, and not lost in the background

Nice write, vocal and production. We enjoyed the backstory on how you put it together. Even sans the quickie production it sounds very good on our monitors.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
