Hello Gang! I am new to the posts, so I hope I get this submitted tothe right place. (Where are the beginner forums?)
IN PT PRO I have an issue in the Notation Window:
I just RECENTLY installed PT PRO 2017 AND BIAB ULTRA PLUS PAK 2017 USB HDD AS PART OF A STUDIO UPGRADE.
THIS ISSUE OCCURS ONLY AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE SONG.
I have triad of ensemble strings set to whole notes. 3/4 time at 65 Tempo
Lower note is A at top line bass staff. Above it on treble staff are notes D and note F first space.
Resolution is set to 480 ticks per quarter note. All notes at volume 100
Location is At Bar 1 at beginning. All three whole notes are set to play together at first measure, 1st beat 1st tick
?? ISSUE: PT will not play all three notes together??
PT sounds JUST the bottom note plus one or the other of the top tow notes.
But PT will not sound both notes top note. ONLY ONE OF THEM SOUNDS.
If I delay either one of the top two notes at least 23 ticks then sometimes both top notes will play. But if either of the top two notes is set to 1/1/22 ticks or less, then only one note will sound.
The one that sounds is the last one edited.
NOW ??? HAVING SPENT AN HOUR PLAYING WITH THIS, and preparing this post, I FIND IT DOES NOT ALWAYS PLAY BOTH UPPER NOTES AT PLUS 23 TICKS EITHER! It is not entirely consistent.
Any comments appreciated.

Polyphony limit on the synth maybe?

I doubt it, I was not using my synth (Had it routed through VST) Defalt synth Coyote Wave Table.
I am wondering if there is a fix available - I did just update biab.
Otherwwise, I wonder maybe I should reemove and reinstall pt pro 2017?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
