I have been having a problem now for some time with realtracks within Band In A Box, when I generate a track the first bar plays as normal but the next 6 bars or so are empty, then play as normal. Has anybody else had this problem, does anyone know a solution?.
I was hoping when I upgraded to 9.5 it would sort the issue out but it hasn’t.

Never had that happen here. Did you try the otherwise standard approach whenever anything weird happens, viz. -> Reset to Factory Settings?

Perhaps you had a "break bars" feature set. That is a feature for practicing "good time", where you can get the program to be silent every X bars, lasting N bars. You keep on playing, and if you've got good time, you come in with the rest of the band.
By the way, you can load in old preferences sets from the Options Menu, so if you revert to Factory Settings, you'll first be saving your old preferences. That way you could load in that old preferences file, and turn off break bars (in the preferences dialog)

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
