But unfortunately it wont let you change the midi thru voice in any version. I notice the is no snowflake box at all on the thru track don’t know if that is a clue. Sorry to be a pain. Please correct me if that is not the case. When I downloaded late last night there was a thread indicating availability of 807, also with details of the elusive 805 and 806, This morning everything has gone. Spooky eh? Vintage p.s. I won't install 807 just yet to be safe.

As I said in my post it still has some problems. On a more general note, although a lot of these improvement and enhancements, in the new versions each year, are welcome. I can understand that there may well be bugs in the new functionality of those improvements and extra features. But it should not render old established core functions that have been working for years in previous builds to no longer work. Joseph Land Expert J Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 878 Springfield, MO	When you install the update, like all updates I have seen, you will see the message on the 2nd screen after clicking NEXT Band-in-a-Box 2021 (Build 807) Update This will update Band-in-a-Box to version 2021 (build 807) from any previous Band-in-a-Box 2021 build From past messages, I understand any new update incorporates any previous updates so you don't have to worry about being up to date. BIAB2024 Windows 10 Pro WA6NCB

Also noticed that there are no freeze buttons in the utility tracks and the thru tracks. There may well be more I did not get to see. At that point I gave up and went to bed just before it was pulled. Freeze buttons don't make sense for the Thru tracks or Utility tracks I am not sure why the patch changes are not working on the Thru track but will definitely look into that. There is a workaround you can use, if you need one right now - Options \| Preferences \| Channels, and change the patch on the bottom row. Andrew PG Music Inc.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
