What happened to your post about the digital piano stuck at 48K sample rate? Did you fix it?
Thanks for that link Matt.
As for the 48k question ... heck I can't remember been away for awhile.
Just recall I always had trouble trying to use my digital keyboard along with BB. ( old Roland FP-7 )
My computer does not have dedicated speakers so I use my FP-7 as the speakers. Computer plays fine through FP-7 as long as I'm playing MP3's using Transcribe or midi's using something like Synthesia.
But as soon as I hook a usb midi cable from FP-7 to computer ... I get nothing. Tried many different midi/driver settings.
I presume that your hookup is not adressing midi only?
Check with headphones first if there's any sound from the PC (laptop?) itself.
If you want the audio connected you might have to install the appropriate audio drivers for your Fp7 on the PC first, then address the FP7 as primary audio interface in BIAB. Or even in windows on the PC, and check sample frequency also. BIAB usually works best with 44.1 kHz.
Computer is desktop. Sound card out to FP-7 in. Video sound, mp3's, midi's all play fine through FP-7.
Hooking midi from FP-7 (square connection) to computer USB and I cannot get sound.
So, you are connecting *audio cables* to the Audio inputs of the FP-7 from your computer, which works fine (Band-in-a-Box will play through it), and you are able to play along with your FP-7, is that correct?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
