Hallo zusammen,
zuerst möchte ich mich ein wenig vorstellen. Ich bin vom Beruf Gitarrist und Bassist. Ich habe Biab 2012. Habe nur immer sporadisch mit dem Programm gearbeitet, kenne aber durchaus den Ablauf.
Meine Frage ist, ich habe BiaB 2012 mit allen erdenklichen Styles, zumindest sagt das Biab, wenn ich auf den Button klicke, welche Ergänzungen habe ich. (Sie haben alle Style-Sets (außer es gibt neue))
Nun habe ich damals mich gar nicht registriert und möchte das gern im Nachhinein tun, weiß aber gar nicht, wo ich die Seriennummer finde. Ich hatte das Paket auf einer Festplatte, von wo ich es aus installiert habe. Wie kann ich die Seriennummer harausfinden?
Nun möchte ich von Euch wissen, inwieweit die neuen BiaB Versionen sich verbessert haben, was man seitdem mit der Software anstellen kann und ob sich ein Upgrade lohnt? Und was das in etwa kostet? So ganz blicke ich nämlich bei BiaB und ihre Pakete nicht durch.
Über Hilfestellungen Eurerseits würde ich mich sehr freuen.

BiaB 2012 hatte noch keine Seriennummer. Die unterschiedlichen 'Pakete' unterscheiden sich lediglich in der Anzahl der gelieferten Styles - das Programm selbst ist bei allen Paketen gleich. Was man seitdem mit der Software anstellen kann und ob sich ein Upgrade lohnt, kann am besten vielleicht mit einer Tüte Popcorn und den Video Tutorials erforscht werden -> https://www.pgmusic.com/videos.bbwin.htm.Willkommen im Forum

Hallo Martin,
danke für die Information. Ich würde mir gern das Upgrade besorgen. Es gibt für die alten User ja das Gesamtpaket für 299 Euro. Ich wollte mich da anmelden und mir bestellen. Die wollen aber, dass man eine Seriennummer eingibt, die ich ja nicht habe. Also wäre meine Frage, würde ein Upgrade funktionieren oder würde man wie ein Neukunde behandelt? Problem scheint vielleicht bei mir auch darin zu bestehen, dass ich ohne Seriennummer mein BiaB nicht registrieren kann. Zumindest habe ich dazu nichts gesehen. Die Tüte Popcorn hatte ich schon gestern aufgegessen. Einiges klang schon recht ordentlich, weiß aber auch, dass bei Demovideos der Klang ja häufig gut bearbeitet wird. Kann BiaB auch, sowie ich es von Cakewalk Sonar kenne, eingespielte Audiofiles zu Midi konvertieren, so dass man Notentext daraus erstellen kann? Wäre für Unterrichtszwecke einfach großartig. Das immerwährende hin und her zwischen einzelnen Programmen ist da schon nervig?

Am besten mit PGMusic direkt klären - Live Chat, E-Mail oder Telefon. Kann BiaB auch, sowie ich es von Cakewalk Sonar kenne, eingespielte Audiofiles zu Midi konvertieren, so dass man Notentext daraus erstellen kann? BiaB -> Audio/Audio Edit Window/Edit/Transcribe . . . RealBand -> Edit/MIDI/Pitch to MIDI Convert (current audio track) . . . Die Qualität der Transkription hängt von verschiedenen Faktoren ab. Danke für den Tip
Ich habe noch die ganz alte Version von Transcribe!. Die benutze ich häufig zum raushören und finde die echt gut. Auch wenn der mir Vorschläge gibt, die manchmal jeseits von Eden ist:). Ich habe noch ein geschultes Ohr, schreibe auch Noten noch selber, aber das ständige Übertragen in ein Notationsprogramm ist nervig. Habe mir extra deswegen Lilypond und Frescobaldi Codeschreiben beigebracht, damit es schneller und vom Druckbild besser wird. Aber erstmal steht man da wie Ochs vom Berge, bis man die Syntax begriffen hat. Danach geht es wirklich schneller.
Ich werde mal mit dem Chat es probieren. Vielen Dank für Deine Hilfe:)

So, ich habe mal gechatet und ich bekomme bald meine neueste Version von BiaB 2021. Ich freu mich echt schon und bin gespannt, was sich in 9 Jahren so getan hat:).
