Nice song beautifully sung.
You say the only PG product is Midi drums from Band in A Box & the rest is live - on Soundcloud and the Website link you name the drummer?
The drums certainly have a live feel and follow the song amazingly well for Midi drums (never heard midi or RT's do the nice change at the end). If they are midi what processing did you use?
The song is excellent.
Peter

Hi Stefan,
Yes Jo has a huge voice and I remember she was a handful to record in terms of getting the levels set. She is so experienced and such a professional that she knocked out the lead vocal and all the BV's in less than 1 hour.
Best Regards Nigel

Hello Nigel,
After 'Chugging' destroyed half of new Zealand, you thought to come with this song to finish it? It is really Power, not only for the blues, but certainly coming from Jo Lincoln. What voice she has, amazing!
In his post Peter mentioned you used a midi drum. Couldn't you find a proper RT in BiaB? Not that it matters much, although the drums could have been mixed a bit louder to my opinion.
But I enjoyed your song a lot! Hans

Hi Hans,
On further examination - the drums are part BIAB Midi, Part Drum Machine (Al Esis) and part Pat Steward (Real Track). Also the claps are a BIAB Loop and the Tambourine is a BIAB Real Drum.
Best Regards Nigel

Hey folks ...
What a great listen. Jo's vocals are so sweet with so much soul and power! And it's a great song to highlight her fantastic vocal chops. Everything about this is top shelve. It's a song that makes you feel it as well as hear it. Totally loved my listen! Great work by all concerned!

Hey, Nigel,
That's one powerful song/production. Top-notch (just like all your other offerings I've heard so far).
Keep up the great work!
Brian.
My music may not set the world on fire but if it causes a glow in just one person's heart, it has all been worthwhile

Nigel,
Wow, what an awesome vocal . . . Jo nails this song. Love the production touches as well—the organ sounds great. Great intro and a terrific foot-tapping, head nodding groove thereafter. Love the break with the clapping. Just a well put together tune. Congrats to all involved!
My best to each of you,
Deej

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your comments.
Yes I would love to play it live with Jo sometime - maybe in a Baptist church with a Choir and pipe organ.
Best Regards Nigel

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
