I thought I'd try and post one of my original songs where I used Band-In-A-Box to compose all of the backing tracks. I wrote the words and the music. I did the vocal. The song is called "I BLAME IT ALL ON THE RAIN". Any feedback would be quite welcomed. I hope this is the right method for posting a song. If not, please somebody let me know. Here is the song summary from the BIAB file. Hi, Allan. Nice blues! Good work all around - nice vocals, good arrangement, clear mix. You might move the link to the top of the post, so it's easier to find and click... for lazy people like me who have trouble finding things buried at the bottom of posts.

I Love the use of this style. I've used it several times myself. Good work on this, most enjoyable. Rob4580

Hello, 'alsky'...
Sounds to me like you bit off a big ol' chunk of heart-broken blues, chewed it up real good, digested it nice and slow-like, and then wrang it out of your tortured heart for all to hear.
Your vocal track possessed an authentic aching, despairing, and weary sound that brought out the best of your Real Track selections. Great storytelling power in your lyrics. It's the kind of blues performance that leaves a stain on your soul that isn't easy to wash out. Applause!

Welcome to the forum, Allan. A well-mixed song that seems to tick all of the usual boxes. The beginning sounded a bit chopped-off (you'll probably find half a note on the cutting-room floor ), otherwise a very pleasant listen.
My music may not set the world on fire but if it causes a glow in just one person's heart, it has all been worthwhile

In a few spots, mainly the LOW notes, your voice levels dips down to almost inaudible. Give 'em a boost. Nicely done.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm really new to mixing. I guess I need to pay more attention to the entire vocal track and look for weak spots.
Thanks, again.

Thanks for the comment. I just went out to your website for a listen. I really like the mood and music to "Blue Guitar" and several others. Nice mixing of the instruments.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
