Bonsoir tout le monde,
Sur la suggestion de Daniel Donval, voici pourquoi j'utilise Realband comme unique séquenceur pour tous les morceaux que je crée avec Biab depuis plus de dix ans.
Si l'on ne prend pas en compte la façon dont RB s'intègre dans le monde Biab, c'est un séquenceur ordinaire comme il en existe d'innombrables. Je ne vais pas passer en revue toutes les fonctionnalités basiques de RB pour le comparer à d'autres outils, il est évident que plusieurs font mieux que RB sur de nombreux points. Mais je vais énumérer ce qu'il est le seul à savoir faire et qui intéresse tous les utilisateurs de Biab.
-RB sait ouvrir un fichier Biab, et le présenter sous la forme classique de pistes, que l'on peut gérer alors en toute liberté.
-Le fichier ainsi ouvert n'est pas limité en nombre de pistes, ou du moins cette limite est trop haute pour être gênante. Si vous voulez ajouter des instruments (RT ou midi) à ce que permet Biab, vous pouvez donc y aller tranquille !
-Notez l'intérêt suivant : une même RT peut donc être générée autant de fois que vous le voulez, dans des pistes différentes. Vous pouvez ensuite sélectionner les mesures que vous préférez pour constituer une piste unique.
-Dans n'importe quelle piste issue d'une RT, vous pouvez regénérer une ou plusieurs mesures qui ne vous plaisent pas.
-Vous pouvez remanier votre utilisation d'instruments de façon bien plus pratique et plus visuelle que ce qu'autorise BB avec la gestion des mesures.
-Vous pouvez enregistrer autant de pistes audio que vous le souhaitez. L'éditeur audio est complet, et propose même une compression. Pour mes petits bricolages, j'oserai dire qu'il est parfait, même si ce n'est pas le meilleur du marché.
-On retrouve dans RB toutes les possibilités de Biab mais d'une façon générale, plus faciles à gérer qu'avec ce dernier. Par exemple : l'harmonisation audio.
-Faiblesses de RB : il y a quelques petits bugs qui trainent depuis des années, que j'ai indiqués plusieurs fois au support sans succès. C'est agaçant... pour autant je continue à l'utiliser.
Ceci est une description très sommaire. J'oublie évidemment des choses importantes, ou bien je ne les connais pas (je suis loin de tout utiliser). Le mieux est de l'essayer. Si je peux répondre à vos questions, ce sera avec plaisir.

Merci à toi d'avoir écrit ce post sur REALBAND.
L'utilisation de ce séquenceur est souvent sujette à discussion et ton avis vient donc éclairer tout utilisateur potentiel.
La communauté s'enrichit donc un peu plus et je t'en remercie en son nom.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
