Ich möchte meine E-Gitarre direkt an den PC anschließen und dann z. B. gespielte Akkord-Begleitungen weiter in Band-in-a-Box verwenden. Hat dazu jemand Vorschläge bzw. Erfahrung?
Beispiel:
1. Aufnahme mit Begleitakkorden
2. Aufnahme für Solospiel (overdube zu 1.)
3. Ergänzung mit Band-in-a-Box Drum etc.

Hallo "RJ",
im Prinzip musst Du Deine Gitarre nur über einen Preamp in den Eingang deiner Soundkarte stöpseln. Da reicht für den Anfang auch deine Onboardsoundkarte. Preamps gibt es massig. Billige, aber keine so schlechten, z.b. von Behringer.
Onboardsoundkarten haben aber id.R. schlechte A/D-Wandler, sind anfällig für Störeinstrahlung und haben lange Latenzzeiten, die gerade bei Gitarren nerven können. Kauf Dir also zuerst eine gute Recordingkarte mit ASIO-Treiber in PCI-, USB- oder FireWire-Version (ab 80€). Zwischen Preamp und Karte kannst Du noch ein kleines Mischpult schalten, das macht die Handhabung einfacher.
Willst Du mit der Gitarre soundmäßig flexibler sein, kannst Du statt eines Preamps auch einen Modeller nehmen. Der POD (2 oder XT oder X3) z.B. simuliert viele Verstärkermodelle und hat unzählige Effekte. Er fungiert über USB auch als Audiointerface und kann so die Soundkarte ersetzen. Wäre also auch ne Überlegung. Es gibt die auch von Behringer, Vox, Zoom, DigiTEch, usw. Für Homerecording eine gute Sache, auch wenn Soundpuristen bei Modellern immer die Nase rümpfen.
Das Spielen und Aufnehmen in BiaB selber ist dann sehr einfach über die Audio-Aufnahme zu realisieren. z.B. Du stellst eine Begleitcombo mit Bass, Piano und Drums zusammen. Dann nimmt Du Deine Begleitung oder Solo dazu mit Gitarre selbst auf. Mit RealBand geht es noch einfacher, weil Du hier beliebig viele Audiospuren zu BiaB oder Realtrack-Spuren aufnehmen kannst.
Deine Reihenfolge 1 bis 3 wäre:
1. Aufnahme des Gitarren-Compings.
Dann Entweder die gespielten Akkorde als Harmionie in BiaB bzw. Realband eingeben, damit nachher Bass, Piano usw. wissen was sie spielen sollen. Oder - wenn Du nicht mehr weist, was Du gespielt hast - Analyse der eingespielten Audiospur im "Audio-Akkord-Assistenten" und übernahme in BiaB oder RealBand.
2.Spur mit Gitarrensolo aufnehmen.
3. Drum-Spur auswählen und generieren
Besser wäre natürlich Reihenfolge 2 und 3 zu tauschen. Auch kannst Du Dir noch einen Basspart oder oder nen Pianisten dazu holen. Beide spielen entsprechend der eingegebenen oder vom Assistenten analysierten Harmonie und des gewählten Styles.

Hallo Ralf,
Vielen Dank für die ausführliche Antwort. Ich werde mich an ein Fachgeschäft mit deinen Angaben wenden.
Ich habe vergessen zu erwähnen, dass ich eine VOX-Verstärkerbox besitze und habe dazu noch eine Zusatzfrage: kann man eine solche Box an den PC anschließen? Wenn ja, welches Zusatzequipment wird dann noch benötigt?
Grundsätzlich möchte ich aber die Gitarre mit einem möglichst kleinen Equipment direkt an einen PC anschließen können und das schon vorhandene technische Umfeld wir Soundboxen, Band-in-a-Box Software usw. anwenden.

Hallo Johann, ohne genaue Kenntnis Deiner Box kann ich wenig sagen. Nehme aber an, dass es eine übliche Gitarrenbox (1x12, 2x12, o.a.) ist, die an einen richtigen Gitarrenverstärker gehört. Die minimale Ausgangsleistung Deines PC-Soundausgangs reicht dafür bei weitem nicht. Außerdem würden die BiaB-Sounds nicht gut darüber klingen, weil eine Gitarrenbox auf das Frequenzspektrum von E-Gitarren abgestimmt und nicht so breitbandig ist, wie z.B. HiFi- oder Monitorboxen. Wenn Du erstmal wenig Geld ausgeben willst, rate ich Dir dazu: http://www.thomann.de/de/behringer_vtone_guitar_gdi21_analog_modeling_preamp.htm Diesen Preamp musst Du mit Adaptern (6,5 auf 3,5 Klinke) an Deine Soundkarte anschließen. An den Preampeingang kommt Deine Gitarre. Die Wiedergabe erfolgt über die an Deinen PC angeschlossenen Lautsprecher. Einschließlich Adapter kostet es dich um die 50€. Das reicht für erste Schritte und Experimente. Mit was für einer Gitarre spielst Du überhaupt? Wenn Du später besseren Klang und mehr Möglichkeiten willst, solltest Du deinen PC z.B. an eine (vorhandene) Stereoanlage anschließen. Das klingt schon mal besser, als die billigen PC-Lautsprecher. Danach solltest Du in eine bessere Soundkarte investieren, usw. Immer entsprechend Deiner wachsenden Ansprüchen und Deines Budgets. Gruß Ralf

Eine interessante Gitarre mit USB-Anschluss und ansteuerbaren LEDs gibt es hier: (Sozusagen eine Gitarre mit Rückkoppelung...) http://www.fretlight.com/Das dürfte auch zum Üben von Soli gut sein.

Solche reinen USB-Gitarren - es gibt sie auch noch von Line6 und Behringer - haben einen Nachteil mit BiaB, weil sie nur mit einem per Software simulierten Verstärker funktionieren. Behringer legt abgespeckte Versionen der NI Combos bei, Line6 verwendet TonePort. Man kann auch Guitar Rig oder Revalver u.a. "Softwareverstärker" nehmen. Alle klingen gut und bringen sogar Jam-Funktionen bzw. Aufnahmemöglichkeiten mit.
Sie kommen damit aber leider auch BiaB in Quere, das sich z.B. bei mir über ein parallel laufendes NI Guitar Rig beschwert. BiaB-Fehlermeldung ist, dass der Soundtreiber von einer anderen Anwendung verwendet wird. BiaB bleibt dann stumm.
