im useing power tracks to record a number of audio tracks
my question is
how do i set volume of the track im recording [for monitoring i mean]
im useing a small mixing desk with 2 sub out which i use to send my
signal to what ever track i want to record.
i have DRUMS TRACK 1 BASS track 2 GUITAR track 3
but i dont know how to set volume on say my vocal track when i recording
the problem i think is becouse i only have a stereo out on my sound card
and all the sound is to comeing out there. is there a way to over come this
i didnt have this prob when i had my old 8 track becouse i just monitord
of what ever track i was recording on at the time

You posted in the Wishlist forum, would get more response in the Regular Powertracks support forum
If you are using a mixer to record more than two instruments to just two tracks you will never have control over them.
If you are asking how to turn down existing tracks so you can hear yourself sing, I'd need to know more about how things are set up; like how do you listen? Soundcard? Mixer headphones?
If you have existing tracks 1,2 and 3 just use the mixer in Powertracks to turn down the existing tracks in relation to your vocal, then turn the main listening route up to compensate..
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
