I have Version 2008 (257), which has been working great on Windows XP. I recently had to buy a new computer, which has Windows 7 Home Premium (no built-in XP mode). I installed BiaB along with bb2008_5_build264 on the new computer, but it's not working very well. For one thing, the drop-down menu that appeared when right-clicking on any of the instruments, no longer appears. Instead, it just gives the options 'right click to mute' and 'left click to select'. The timing of the Real Drums seems to be off as well. Are there any patches or updates to help make this version more compatible with Windows 7 and/or is there a way to restore the instrument drop-down menu?

32 bit or 64 bit for BIAB and old and new Computer?

New Computer: Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64-bit operating system / Old Computer: Windows XP, Service Pack 2, 32-bit operating system. I don't know for sure, but I am think my 2008 version of BIAB is probably 32 bit.

Your Windows 7 will run anything. Don't get sidetracked with all the 32/64 bit talk. Windows will load anything you load into compatibility mode as it sees need to do so. You don't even have to select any kind of switch. If a program is not written in 64 bit code, Windows 7 can't even TRY to run it as such and it senses as much when you install.
I am using the new 1040XTRAEZ form this year. It has just 2 lines.

You might try right click on BIAB icon, select "Troubleshoot Compatibility" and let W7 take a shot. I tried it on about 6 (freeware utility) programs that ran fine for me in XPx32 but would not run in X7x64. It fixed two of them.
Also try return to factory settings.
If no joy here, try calling PG.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
