OP Sundance Veteran Joined: May 2008 Posts: 5,063 Kentucky USA	The majority of popular hit songs in the past 50+ years were written with a verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus (ABABCB) or verse, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus (AABABCB) or slight variation of these most used song forms. Can you name two HIT songs that have NO chorus? PLEASE NOTE: (HIt means single played on the radio that people will recognize - no obscure album cuts please.) Thanks for playing. Sorry, I don’t have a master list of answers. Just thought it was an interesting topic to think about and it wracked my brain. LOL! As for Go Ask Alice, I think you’re talking about “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane. (I consider a refrain as a short one or two line tag that is tacked on the end of each verse which is not the same as a chorus.) Eddie, ABACAB is a variation that repeats “B” the chorus. Marv, I have to wonder if Eau D’Billy Joe smells like Tallahassee river water… BTW, Noel, I can’t believe I had actually forgotten The Rose…. Thanks for all the great answers from every one! Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
